Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 11, 2026

Welcome to DadderUp. DadderUp is operated by Dadder Enterprises LLC (“DadderUp”, “we”, “our”, “us”). Your privacy matters to us.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our website, our waitlist, our iOS and Android mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Information We Collect

We may collect several types of information, including:

  • Account and Personal Information you provide directly: name, email address, phone number, date of birth, profile photo, number of children and their names or ages, and other profile details you choose to add.
  • User-Generated Content: challenge responses, journal or reflection entries, comments and replies posted in community threads, and any photos, video, or audio you upload.
  • Assessment and Progress Data: your Anchor assessment answers and results, challenge completions, streaks, and other progress information.
  • Purchase and Subscription Data: subscription status, plan, and billing history. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe); we never receive or store your full card number.
  • Usage Data: information about how you use our website and apps (e.g. pages or screens visited, features used, time spent, clicks and taps).
  • Device / Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device type and model, operating system, app version, and mobile advertising or device identifiers.
  • Diagnostics and Crash Data: crash reports, error logs, and performance data used to diagnose and fix problems.
  • Communications Data: records and content of your communications with us, including email, text messages, in-app messages, and support requests.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and provide the Services you request, including your account, subscription, and personalized content.
  • Communicate with you: send updates, notifications, reminders, and customer service messages.
  • Send you marketing or promotional materials, where you have opted in or where otherwise permitted by law.
  • Improve our Services through research, analytics, and user feedback.
  • Measure the performance of our marketing and advertising campaigns.
  • Ensure security, and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our terms.
  • Comply with our legal obligations.

3. Consent & Messaging

By providing your information and opting in, you consent to receive messages (email, SMS/text, push notifications) from us for things like service updates or promotional communications. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of non-service messages at any time (for example, by replying “STOP” to texts, using the unsubscribe link in emails, or disabling notifications in your device settings).

4. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking

We use analytics and advertising tools to understand how our Services are used and to measure the effectiveness of our marketing.

We may share limited identifiers — such as a hashed email address, hashed name, and a user or device identifier — with Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook/Instagram) for advertising measurement, attribution, and audience targeting.

This activity may be considered “tracking” under Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework, and may be considered “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under certain U.S. state privacy laws.

Your choices:

  • iOS: When you first use the app, we ask for your permission to track. If you decline, we do not share identifying information with advertising partners for tracking purposes. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Android: You can limit ad personalization or reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads.
  • You may also contact us at marketing@dadderup.com to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for advertising purposes.

5. Disclosure of Information

We may share your information:

  • With service providers who help us deliver the Services, including:
    • Supabase — database hosting, authentication, and file storage
    • Stripe — payment and subscription processing
    • Meta Platforms — analytics, advertising measurement, and attribution
    • Expo / EAS — mobile app delivery, updates, and crash diagnostics
    • Email and SMS delivery providers
  • With third parties when required by law, such as in response to court orders, subpoenas, or other legal obligations, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of DadderUp or others.
  • In connection with business transfers, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We will never sell your personal information to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

6. Security

We employ reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Services, fulfill obligations under applicable law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (for example, transaction records for tax and accounting purposes).

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including:

  • Accessing your personal data
  • Correcting or updating your data
  • Deleting your data
  • Withdrawing consent
  • Opting out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
  • Portability of your data

To exercise these rights, contact us at marketing@dadderup.com.

Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time:

  • In the mobile app: open Profile → Settings → Delete account, then confirm. This permanently deletes your account, profile, progress, and content.
  • By email: send a request from your account email address to marketing@dadderup.com with the subject “Delete my account”, and we will process it within 30 days.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through a third party; please also cancel through the platform where you purchased it.

9. Children

Our Services are intended for adults (18 and over) and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us with personal information may contact us at marketing@dadderup.com.

Where our Services collect information about a user’s children (such as first names or ages entered by a parent as part of their profile), that information is provided by the parent, is used only to personalize the parent’s experience, and is never used for advertising or shared with advertising partners.

10. International Users

Our Services are operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post a notice or update the “Last Updated” date above so you know when changes happen. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
